2022 Medical Writing & Communication Conference Chapter Dinner

The AMWA-SE Chapter will be at the 2022 AMWA National Conference. The Chapter warmly invites fellow conference attendees to join us for our Chapter Dinner on November 3rd.

We will meet up for the dinner at 5:30 pm MT in the lobby of the conference hotel. The dinner will take place at 6:15 pm MT at Maggiano’s Little Italy (500 16th St., Denver, CO, 80202).

We will be networking and celebrating our Chapter’s acheivements this year. Come connect with us!

What: AMWA Southeast Virtual Meetup

Get to know your fellow medical writers at this informal virtual meet and greet. Amanda Johnson, AMWA Southeast Chapter President-Elect and freelance medical writer, will be your host. Come prepared to introduce yourself, share what you do, and ask questions about medical writing. We will also discuss topics of general interest to medical writers as time and interest allow. Possibilities include AMWA resources, breaking into medical writing, and freelancing.

This event is open to all and will be of interest to current and aspiring medical writers wishing to build their network.

Atlanta Networking Event

Curious about medical writing careers? Perhaps you’re finishing up your PhD or postdoc and want to transition out of the laboratory, or maybe you are considering a career change. The AMWA Southeast Chapter invites everyone to attend our Medical Writing Career Panel. Learn from our speakers about the wide variety of options available to you within the medical writing field: publications, regulatory and continuing medical education to name just a few! The speakers will share their advice for breaking in to these different fields and what the work is like. Afterwards you’ll have the opportunity to network with the speakers and your fellow medical writers. This event is free to attend, and food will be provided.
