Atlanta Networking Event

Curious about medical writing careers? Perhaps you’re finishing up your PhD or postdoc and want to transition out of the laboratory, or maybe you are considering a career change. The AMWA Southeast Chapter invites everyone to attend our Medical Writing Career Panel. Learn from our speakers about the wide variety of options available to you within the medical writing field: publications, regulatory and continuing medical education to name just a few! The speakers will share their advice for breaking in to these different fields and what the work is like. Afterwards you’ll have the opportunity to network with the speakers and your fellow medical writers. This event is free to attend, and food will be provided.

Nashville Health and Wellness Event

Calling all medical writers in Middle Tennessee!

Are long hours at your desk taking their toll? Then you need to attend this unique networking event hosted by the Southeast Chapter of the American Medical Writers Association.

Eva Stabenow, President of Wordplay Translations, LLC and Certified Pilates Trainer, will be presenting “Don’t just sit there: Easy ways to be more active at your desk” on Wednesday October 16th at the Green Hills Library in Nashville, TN. Learn how you can keep your body healthy and happy by incorporating smart movement “snacks” and strategies into your workday.

Come prepared to move a little, learn a lot, and network with fellow medical writers!

Speed Networking in Atlanta

Get a chance to talk with your fellow AMWA members in a night of speed networking. The event will be held on Wednesday, Feb 27th at the Chamblee Library from 6 – 7:30 pm. This is a dry event. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
